FFS Shop — Returns and Refunds Policy
1. Requesting a return
Contact info@futurefitsports.co.za with your order number, the item and your reason for returning it. For damaged or incorrect goods, photographs help us resolve the issue faster.
We will provide return instructions and the appropriate return address. Please do not send goods to a courier depot or supplier without instructions. Our return process does not restrict your statutory rights.
2. Online change-of-mind cancellations
Where section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act applies, you may cancel an online goods purchase without giving a reason within seven days after receiving the goods.
You are responsible only for the direct cost of returning the goods. We do not charge a cancellation or restocking fee for a qualifying cooling-off cancellation. Applicable refunds will be made within 30 days of cancellation.
Take reasonable care of the goods and return all supplied components. Please retain the packaging where possible.
3. Additional size exchanges
As an additional FFS benefit, you may request a size exchange within 14 calendar days of receipt for eligible apparel.
For this additional benefit, items must be unused, unwashed, unworn other than careful fitting, and returned with their original tags and packaging. Exchanges depend on stock availability. You pay the return and replacement delivery costs, plus any price difference agreed before dispatch.
This additional benefit excludes personalised items, opened nutrition products and worn socks or other hygiene-sensitive items. These restrictions do not override a statutory cancellation or defect claim.
Outside statutory rights and this size-exchange benefit, FFS does not offer general change-of-mind returns.
4. Personalised, perishable and nutrition products
Certain goods, including goods made to your specifications, clearly personalised goods and goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, may be excluded from the statutory online cooling-off right where the law provides.
We do not offer discretionary returns for opened or partly consumed nutrition products. However, describing a product as “food”, “nutrition”, “sale” or “hygiene-sensitive” does not automatically remove your statutory rights.
Incorrect, unsafe or defective goods remain subject to applicable legal remedies.
5. Defective, unsafe or incorrect goods
If goods fail to meet the Consumer Protection Act’s applicable quality standards within six months of delivery, you may return them without penalty and at FFS’s risk and expense. Where section 56 applies, you may choose a repair, replacement or refund.
We may reasonably inspect the goods to establish the problem. Original packaging is not a condition of a valid statutory defect claim.
Damage caused by misuse, unauthorised alterations, failure to follow reasonable care instructions or ordinary wear is not automatically a product defect. Each claim will be assessed on its facts.
Please report delivery damage, shortages or incorrect items promptly—ideally within 48 hours—to assist our investigation. Missing that suggested reporting period does not extinguish your statutory rights.
6. Refunds
Refunds relate to the amount actually paid, taking account of discounts. Partial-order refunds will use the discount allocated to the returned items.
We normally refund through the original payment method. We will not force store credit instead of a refund where the law entitles you to money back. Refunds include delivery charges where legally required, and we will not deduct payment-processing fees from statutory refunds.
Bank processing times may affect when the money appears in your account.
